Amy Kerr-Menz is an Australian textile artist based in the nation's capital - Canberra. Graduating from The Australian National University School of Art in 2007 with a Bachelor of Visual Arts in Textiles, Amy established her unique brand, Moyou, and continues to maintain an active professional studio practice.

Amy's practice is a wonderful Australian/Asian hybrid: a unique blend of Australian design and Japanese aesthetic. Her studio practice focuses on the traditional Japanese resist dyeing technique of katazome. A background in graphic design, in combination with a love for Japan, influences and informs her design practice – resulting in a meticulously designed range of artwork, fabric and products.

She has been the recipient of a number of awards and grants, and has exhibited in Australia and in Japan.
